SubSIIR

The former Area of International Relations, currently SubSIIR (Deputy secretary for Internationalization and Regional Integration), emerges as an institutional response to the vertiginous changes that occur in the field of International Relations. This dynamic process generates spaces of convergence and institutional divergence as well. UNJu establishes, among its policies, the strengthening of teachers, researchers, students and administrative staff´s participation in spaces of cooperation and exchange with foreign universities. This institution also expresses the solid determination to deepen relations with those academic institutions that make up Latin America.

Along with the highly competent team members of SubSIIR, there is an Advisory Council represented by teachers and students from different academic units and researchers from Research Institutes which seek to achieve the following Objectives:

General Objective:

To promote the effective participation of UNJu in the processes of internationalization of higher education and joint cooperation with foreign organizations and university institutions.

  • To encourage the participation of UNJu community in international networks.
  • To intervene actively into inter-university cooperation programs for teachers and researchers.
  • To participate in student exchange programs with academic recognition.
  • To promote the interaction between UNJu staff and their peers from foreign universities, thus improving their corresponding systems.
